My creative blitz continues! In my last blog, I laid out plans for media binging in a bid to jump start my creativity. Results so far:
Two new to me movies: 1. Watched the Aaron Hernandez documentary; grueling and sad. 2. Have a date with the hubs to see Birds of Prey this Saturday.
A craft a day. Exceeding that. One of the great things about working through your craft supplies stash is as you make stuff, you unbury more stuff so you make more stuff. Have made found object magnets, primitive bowl fillers, adorable topped push pins (flowers! Buttons! Shinies!).
10 books: 4 reads so far, Timing by Mary Calmes, Many Luscious Lollipops by Ruth Heller, The Golden Rhinoceros by François-Xavier Fauvelle and An Illusion of Thieves by Cate Glass. Currently reading the Oath and the Axe by Robert Fossier. So, half way to go with three days left.
An Illusion of Thieves turned out to be one of the best books I’ve read in a long while. And as serendipity would have it, it told a story similar to one I’m working on so I was given some guidance. Which goes a long way towards well and more.
